Antenatal Breastfeeding Support - Standard Consultation - $150 (60mins)
Why learn the skills and knowledge of breastfeeding once you have your baby in your arms when you can do so before your baby is born?
Booking in for an antenatal breastfeeding session with Sophie will equip you with the knowledge, tools and confidence to kick start your breastfeeding journey before it has begun.
Antenatal preparation and education can assist you in working through any previous breastfeeding difficulties, current concerns or questions and build your knowledge and confidence in breastfeeding so that once you have your baby in your arms on your birthing day, you are already knowledgeable, confident and ready to embark on your breastfeeding journey with your baby.
Consults are held at BirthEd & Beyond in Tathra or Kalaru. Or, Sophie can come to you, with a travel fee after 5km from Tathra, of $1.20/km each way.
Postnatal Breastfeeding Support - Initial Consultation $200 (60-90min)
If you are having any breastfeeding or lactation difficulties with your baby, no matter their age, then a postnatal breastfeeding support session is for you.
Throughout the consultation, through a detailed assessment of both mother and baby and your breastfeeding history, Sophie will assess the reason for your visit and help provide a detailed feeding plan moving forward, specifically tailored to you and your baby.
Sophie's plan is that you leave the session feeling as though we have worked through your difficulties, provided tools and strategies to move forward, and a clear and concise plan to follow to improve your breastfeeding or lactation concerns.
This service includes a follow up email 2-3 days post the consultation to make sure you are feeling positive and the plan in place is satisfactory for you.

Postnatal Breastfeeding Support - Follow Up Consultation $150 (60min)
If another catch up is required after our initial consultation and check in 2-3days post initial consult, a follow up consultation is an opportunity to evaluate and assess how the current plan is going and through a full assessment of both mother and baby, assess any changes that need to be made and continue to implement strategies and plans to improve your breastfeeding and lactation journey.

Ongoing Support & Phone/Virtual Check Ins
After our initial or follow up consultation, I will check in with you 2-3 days later to ensure you are on track, feeling positive about our plan and your feeding moving forward.
Beyond this time, I understand questions arise, reassurance may be needed, new obstacles or challenges faced, new stages come or you may want your plan adjusted.
This is where phone or virtual consults come in, as detailed below.
Mini Phone or Virtual Check in - $55 (20min)
A short check in to review your current plan, provide encouragement or answer questions which may have come up since our last consultation. This would be ideal for emotional support, reassurance or plan clarity/adjustments, without the need for a full follow up consultation.
Standard Phone or Virtual Check in - $95 (40min)
A more in-depth conversation together, without the need for a full consultation.
This option would be ideal for discussing any feeding concerns, reviewing plans, making gentle tweaks to your plan that we made together or for gaining support through different feeding transitions.
Extended Virtual Consult - $150 (60min)
A full, virtual consultation, ideal for more complex support.
We'll take a deeper look into your current feeding situation, discuss challenges, explore options and create a tailored plan together. This option includes a written feeding plan and email follow-up within 2-3 days.
